Necklaces make me mad. Well, not necklaces in and of themselves... it's the twisted, knotted ones that really irk me. Call it a pet peeve, if you will, but a tangled necklace is as good as broken in my hands. I just don't have the patience to deal with it! And if it's stuck on my neck because of a knot or a broken clasp, then I'll tug and pull until it snaps. It's terrible, really. If I ever needed anger management for anything, it's with necklaces.
That's why THIS idea makes me SO very happy!
What a clever and fun way to keep those darn, decorative strands separate and ready to wear! Just take a simple wood piece, painted or distressed to match your taste or decor, and add some knobs - random, colorful ones, matching knobs or just all the "extras" you have lying around in junk drawers! Hang it in a closet or bathroom or even on a door, and now necklaces have a happy - and safe - home!
Now, THAT's neat!
